At Good Sammy our participants join us with varying skills and unique life goals. Our Good Sammy Options programs support participants by developing their skills to explore life and employment pathways.
Some of our participants begin in our School Leaver Programs which are designed to assist in the transition from school to employment. Balancing school with job training and work sampling, we will support you to explore your choice of work options or even a micro business.
Our Good Sammy Options programs support participants in developing their skills to explore life. We help you to build confidence, to be brave and help prepare you for the next stage in your pathway. That is why our programs carefully match each participant with a mentor who will help identify your individual aims and create a tailored program to grow your skills and work towards your goal.
Our coordinators listen and work with you to plan and achieve your goals.
- Independence skills - Would you like assistance developing your life-skills? We can help you to use public transport, handle money, budget and more!
- Community Engagement - Perhaps you would like support to get out and about in the community and make new friends. We can provide guidance dealing with social situations and getting out and about. If you want to be active in your community and make new friends, this is the course for you.
- Employability skills – Are you thinking about joining the workforce? We can help you with interview training, workplace etiquette and presentation.
Good Sammy Options is all about providing options to our participants. We believe every person has the right to be employed and we all need a bit of help. That is why our one-on-one mentors work with our participants individually to support them with work readiness. We are here to assist with every stage of the process.
