Donations are crucial to the work we do at Good Sammy. Donations mean sales and sales drive our income. With this income we can continue offering and broadening the employment opportunities available to our clients, whether they are in our retail stores, in our warehouse, business services, hospitality or other areas.
To reduce waste wherever possible, items unsold in our retail stores are repurposed in a variety of ways to minimise waste and maximise revenue.
Did you know:
- Good Sammy collects and re-purposes 6,000 tonnes of textiles annually, diverting these items from landfill
- in 2018/2019 1.2 million customers bought 4.77 million items from Good Sammy, and
- in 2018/2019 our logistics team gathered 6,236 home collections.
